Man attacked left with broken leg and facial injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault occasioning grievous bodily harm which occurred in Bracknell. The incident happened in Vandyke at about 9.55pm on Sunday (21/4). The victim, a 28-year-old man, was walking when he was confronted by a group of men. He was then assaulted by being punched, and fell to the ground. As a result, he suffered facial injuries and a broken leg. He was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged. One of the offenders was white, aged in his early twenties and about 5ft 7ins tall with dark hair. He was wearing dark clothing. The three other offenders were male and aged in their mid to late teens. Investigating officer, Detective Constable Nicholas Brown, said: “This was a serious assault which has resulted in the victim sustaining a broken leg as well as facial injuries. “I’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed it, or has any other information relating to it. “If you can help, call Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference number 43190120165.”
