Police probe arson attack of property in Edmonton

Officers were called at around 11.30pm on Tuesday, 21 May, to reports of a fire at an address in Whitehead Close, N18. Police attended, along with colleagues from the London Fire Brigade. The fire was extinguished. There were no reported injuries. Officers are treating the fire as a suspected arson. Work is underway to establish the full circumstances. As part of their enquiries detectives are keen to trace a person, wearing a hooded tracksuit top, who was seen running from the area towards Plowmans Close at around that time. There is no further description available.
