Motorcyclist in Life-Threatening Condition After Bus Smash in Morden

A motorcyclist remains in a “life-threatening condition” after crashing into a London bus in Morden, Surrey. The horrific collision happened on St Helier Avenue just before 11am on Thursday.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Paramedics, police, fire crews, and London’s Air Ambulance were all scrambled to the scene after reports came in at 10.59am. The motorcyclist was found with serious injuries and airlifted to a West London hospital.

Police Launch Full Investigation

An officer at the scene said: “I would like to reassure the local community that a robust police investigation is well underway. Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident should contact police immediately.”

A Met Police spokesperson added: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service following a road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist and a bus in St Helier Avenue, Morden. Road closures are currently in place. No arrests have been made.”
