Teen stable following shooting in Leytonstone
Police are appealing for information and witnesses after an 18-year-old man was shot in Leytonstone. Officers were called to Birch Grove, E11 at 1138am on Monday, 17 June following a report of a shooting. Armed police, officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found the male injured. He has been taken to a London hospital where his condition has been assessed as non –life threatening or changing. His next of kin have been informed. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue. Reassurance patrols have been stepped up in the residential areas. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 2859/17 June or Crimestoppers anonymously via 0800 555 111.
