Teen Shot in Leytonstone – Police Hunt Witnesses
An 18-year-old man was shot in broad daylight in Leytonstone, sparking a major police response. Officers rushed to Birch Grove, E11, just before noon on Monday, 17 June, following reports of gunfire.
Victim Survives, Condition Stable
Armed police and paramedics found the young man injured at the scene. He was quickly taken to a London hospital where medics confirmed his condition is non-life threatening and stable. His family have been informed, but no arrests have been made so far.
Police Step Up Patrols, Seek Public Help
Enquiries into the shooting are ongoing. In response, officers have increased patrols in the neighbourhood to reassure residents.
