The family of a pedestrian who was killed in a collision in Blackwater have paid tribute to him. Police were called at 2.42am on Saturday 15 June following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a Ford C-Max near The Royal Swan Public House on the A30 London Road. John Johnston, aged 54 years, of Beaulieu Gardens in Blackwater, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have released the following tribute: ‘In loving memory of John Johnston, from Jane and his sons. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.’ Officers are keen to hear from anyone who has information about this collision, or the moments leading up to it, that could assist enquiries. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting 44190205397.
