Kent Fire crews called to standing corn field alight in Leeds near Maidstone

Kent Fire and Rescue Service have been dealing with a fire in a field of standing corn close to Burberry Lane, Leeds near Maidstone. At its height, four fire engines were on the scene, together with the technical rescue unit. Crews used three hose reel jets, Flexi packs, beaters, and a fogging unit to tackle the blaze. There were no reported casualties and the cause isn’t yet known.
