One dead after Cranbrook horror smash

Investigators are appealing for information after a man in his 30s died following a collision near Hawkhurst. The incident took place in Cranbrook Road, Gill’s Green, at around 8.05pm on Wednesday 4 December 2019 and involved a silver Hyundai Coupe and a grey Range Rover Evoque. The Hyundai was travelling in the direction of Cranbrook and the Range Rover was travelling towards Hawkhurst. The driver of the Hyundai, who was from Hawkhurst, died at the scene and two women who were travelling in the Range Rover were taken to a local hospital. Officers in Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident that is yet to get in contact. They would also like to hear from motorists, or people in possession of private CCTV, who may have captured either of the vehicles travelling in the moments leading up to the collision.
