Woman Approaches Child in Margate – Police Seek Witnesses
Police are hunting for witnesses after a woman reportedly approached a child in Cliftonville, Margate, sparking a brief altercation.
The Incident
The spooky encounter happened around 7.10pm on Saturday, 21 December 2019. The child was walking with a parent along Northdown Road near the Godwin Road junction when the woman made contact.
The woman quickly left the scene. No injuries were reported, and she is not known to the child or their family.
Suspect Description & Appeal for Info
She is described as in her 20s, about 5ft 6ins tall, with blonde hair.
Detective Constable Paul Rigden said: “We are following several lines of enquiry to identify the woman and get the full picture. We believe there are witnesses with crucial information who haven’t come forward yet.”
