Serial Burglar due in court after thirty raids

A suspected burglar accused of carrying out morethan 30 thefts across Kent is to appear in court.

 

The Crown Prosecution Service authorised a charge of conspiring to commit burglary against George Knight, 27, of Morvale Close, Belvedere, on Thursday 9 April 2020.

 

It follows an investigation by the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad into reports of burglaries throughout the county between 2 December 2019 and 2 April 2020, where car keys as well as wallets and handbags were reported stolen, along with the victims’ vehicles.

 

Mr Knight has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 11 April.
