Man Airlifted After Shocking Double Stabbing in Quiet Swanscombe
Chaos erupted in the normally peaceful town of Swanscombe, Kent, on Monday night after a brutal double stabbing.
Emergency Services Race to Scene
Police, paramedics, and the Kent Air Ambulance were scrambled just after 11pm following reports of the attack. The victim was treated on site before being rushed to a London hospital by helicopter, landing on a football pitch on The Grove.
High Street Locked Down Amid Police Cordons
The town’s High Street was immediately placed on lockdown, with multiple police cordons set up around the area. Officers are guarding key points, including an alley behind Lil’s Cafe and a roadblock on Stanhope Road.
Shock and Sorrow Among Residents
“He didn’t look in a good way,” said one local who watched the dramatic scene unfold from their window. “The police arrived quickly and medics worked hard on him.”
