Man Fighting for Life After Brutal Streatham Attack – Police Hunt Suspect on the Run
Serious Assault Shakes Streatham
Police are urgently hunting a suspect after a man was brutally attacked in Streatham in the early hours of Saturday, 11 July. The assault took place around 2am on Streatham High Road near Ambleside Avenue.
Victim Critical in Hospital
The 42-year-old victim was rushed to hospital by ambulance and remains in a critical condition. Detectives from the Walworth CID are leading the investigation into the assault.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“I want to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious or witnessed the attack,” said Investigating Officer DS Rob Merrett. “A lone suspect, described as a white man, fled north along High Road. If you saw anything, please come forward.”
No arrests have been made so far and inquiries are ongoing.
