Third Arrest Made in Westminster Fatal Stabbing
Detectives probing the shocking murder in Westminster have detained a third suspect. The latest arrest is a 20-year-old man taken in on 26 July for conspiracy to murder.
Previous Arrests Follow Fatal Attack
A brutal murder probe began after 18-year-old Ahmed Yasin-Ali was found fatally stabbed in Elmfield Way, W9, just after midnight on 15 July.
Two others—a 23-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy—were arrested on suspicion of murder on 17 July. Both have since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
All Suspects Released on Bail
- 20-year-old: arrested 26 July, released on bail to August
- 23-year-old and 17-year-old: arrested 17 July, both released on bail to August
Police continue their investigation as the community awaits justice for Ahmed.
