Two More Men Held Over Bromley Murder
Police have arrested two more men suspected of murdering a man in Bromley. Officers are confident the victim is 34-year-old Frankie Bulbrook, though formal ID is pending.
Violent Street Brawl Ends in Tragedy
The chaos began on Friday, 24 July, when police were called at 8.52pm to reports of around 10 men fighting near Belmont Lane and Imperial Way in Chislehurst. Just minutes later, at 8.54pm, a van hit a pedestrian nearby.
Emergency services, including the London Ambulance and Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene. Frankie was tragically pronounced dead at 9.38pm.
Suspects in Custody
- A 32-year-old man was arrested in Kent and is now held at a South London police station.
- A 25-year-old voluntarily attended a South London station and was arrested for murder and violent disorder.
- Two other men, aged 30 and 26, were found near the Gordon Arms pub with stab wounds and taken to hospital. They were arrested on suspicion of murder but later released under investigation.
- A separate 30-year-old suspect was released with no further action after arrest.
The van involved fled the scene but was later found abandoned near the Gordon Arms pub on Park Road.
Investigation Underway, Police Appeal for Witnesses
A post-mortem revealed Frankie died from multiple stab wounds to the chest and back. Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command say the fight, stabbing, and hit-and-run are linked.
Detective Chief Inspector Richard Leonard: “I believe there are witnesses who have yet to speak with us. We urge anyone who saw what happened or has mobile footage to come forward. Your information could be crucial.”
