Electric Shock Risk Warning for B&Q Lamp Converters

Masterlite has issued an urgent safety alert over its B22 to E27 lampholder converters. These devices, sold at B&Q between October 2019 and March 2020, pose a serious electric shock hazard.

Dangerous Fault in All Batches Sold

The problem? If you try to replace an E27 lamp without switching off the mains first, you risk direct contact with live internal parts. This could lead to a nasty electric shock.

Importantly, all batches of the affected converters are included in this warning. The product in question is:
