Appeal For Witnesses After Fatal Motorcycle Collision In Redbridge

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage to come forward following a fatal collision in Redbridge on Tuesday morning. Police were called at 5.09am on Tuesday, 15 September to Woodford New Road, E17, following reports of a collision involving a motorbike. Officers attended with London Ambulance Service. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers. A post-mortem will take place in due course. Enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident are ongoing. Detective Constable Dustin Irribarren, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, who leads the investigation, said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family at this very sad time. I would like to thank the members of the public who tried to help the victim and who have spoken to us. “I am urging anyone who was in the vicinity of the incident at that time to please check your dash-cam footage.
