Teen Seriously Hurt in Swing Park Horror in Worthing

Police are hunting for witnesses after a 13-year-old boy was left with serious injuries at a Worthing park. The youngster was playing on a swing at Kitty’s Field, Dominion Road, when trouble struck around 3.30pm on Tuesday, 8 September.

The local teen was approached by four other boys, aged between 13 and 15, who asked to push him on the swing. He agreed – but moments later, he fell off, smashing his leg and pelvis in a fall that could change his life forever.

Eyewitnesses Urged to Come Forward

A member of the public helped the injured boy before paramedics rushed him to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition. The group involved were all white boys. One stands out with a tanned complexion, medium build, dark blond “curtains” hairstyle, and a grey Nike T-shirt.

Police Seek Info to Crack Case

 “We want to talk to the boys involved and anyone who saw the incident,” said Detective David Mullins. “We need to find out exactly what happened and if any crime was committed.”
