£20,000 Reward for Missing Brothers Abducted by Father
Police launch £20,000 reward to find three missing boys taken by their dad, Imran Safi. Six-year-old Bilal, five-year-old Mohammed Ebrar, and three-year-old Mohammed Yaseen disappeared on Thursday, 20 August around 6pm. The young brothers haven’t been seen since.
Man in Red Nissan Qashqai Sought
Detectives released a photo of a bearded man they want to question. He was in the front passenger seat of a red Nissan Qashqai (reg PK13 WFO) at the time of the abduction. The car was spotted heading down Malpit Road towards Coulsdon Central shortly after the boys were taken.
Officers say the man wore a stripy jumper. If you live in Coulsdon and have dashcam footage from 20 August, check it urgently. Police believe the man could hold vital clues about the boys’ whereabouts.
Commander Bas Javid said: “I can’t imagine how distressing this whole situation has been for the three young boys, taken from their safe environment. We are offering £20,000 for any information leading to their safe return.”
“The image isn’t clear, but please study it closely and let us know if you recognise him.”
New Images of Missing Boys Released
The police shared fresh photos of the boys taken by their foster carer at a park in Croydon on the day they vanished. The investigation team is pleading with the public to come forward if they have any info.
Commander Javid added: “We believe Safi and the children have likely left the UK via a secret route. We don’t know where yet, which is why we need help from across the country and abroad.”
Multiple Arrests Made – Investigation Ongoing
- Several arrested in Kenley, Croydon, Ilford, Bristol, and at Heathrow Airport on suspicion of involvement.
