Baseball Bat Attack on M20 Sparks Police Hunt
Kent Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a shocking assault on the M20 near Cheriton.
Violent Road Rage Incident Near Junction 12
The drama unfolded on the coastbound hard shoulder just before junction 12 at 6.15pm on Wednesday, 7 October 2020. A silver MG driver reportedly stopped and clashed with the driver of a blue Seat Alhambra.
Tensions escalated when the MG driver allegedly struck the victim with a baseball bat, then hit him with his car as he sped away. The victim was rushed to hospital but has since been discharged.
Man Arrested but Now Released
A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of assault. He’s now been released pending further inquiries.
