A chilling stabbing unfolded near the busy crossroads of North Street, Whiting Avenue, and George Street in Barking on Monday night.

At around 10.10pm, emergency services were scrambled after reports of a serious assault.

Man Found with Life-Threatening Injuries

Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service arrived to find a 22-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.

He was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital in a critical condition.

Crime Scene in Place, No Arrests Yet

A Met Police spokesperson confirmed: “Police were called to North Street, near the junction with Whiting Avenue and George Street, at 22.10hrs on Monday, 1 May, to reports of a stabbing.

“A crime scene has been established. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.”
