Eight Arrested in Ilford Murder Probe – One Charged
Detectives have swooped in Ilford after Vladislavs Radionovs, 57, was found dead on a rural lane. The Latvian national, with no fixed UK address, was discovered unresponsive at Oaks Lane at 6.12am on Saturday, 2 November.
Seven Arrested Over Murder – All Granted Bail
On 10 November, police raided an Ilford address, arresting six men and one woman aged 26 to 48 on suspicion of murder. All seven have since been released on bail, expected to return to police custody in early December.
One Man Faces Charges for Tampering & Theft
Linas Gasiunas, 36, also of no fixed abode, was arrested on 12 November. The next day, he was charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and theft of a mobile phone.
Appearing at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on 13 November, Gasiunas was remanded in custody. He is due back at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 11 December.
