Van Madness on A3: Two Cars Wrecked but No Serious Injuries
Crash Chaos Near Guildford
Surrey Police have released shocking images showing the aftermath of a late-night crash on the A3 near Guildford. A van, bizarrely driving north in the southbound lane, smashed into two cars and a van – leaving all vehicles severely damaged.
Early Morning Horror
The collision happened just after 2am on December 18th. Officers were called after reports that the van was driving the wrong way between Thursley and Guildford. Despite the high-speed impact, miraculously no one was seriously hurt.
“Officers arrived shortly after to find the van and two cars heavily damaged. Thankfully all parties escaped with relatively minor injuries,” said Surrey Police.
Casualties and Investigation
- Two people were taken to hospital by ambulance
- Two others left the scene with family members
- The van driver is cooperating with police inquiries
Sgt Dan Ayrton urged witnesses and anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage to come forward. “If you saw anything before or during the crash, please get in touch,” he said.
