Wayne Couzens, the ex-Met Police officer jailed for murdering Sarah Everard, has now pleaded guilty to three counts of indecent exposure.
New Charges Linked to Kent Incidents
Couzens admitted to flashing victims in Deal, Kent, in 2020, and twice more at a McDonald’s in Swanley, Kent, in February 2021.
Prosecution Drops Other Counts
The Old Bailey heard prosecutors will not pursue three additional indecent exposure charges, which have been left on file.
Guilty Pleas Made From Prison
Couzens gave his pleas via video link from Frankland Prison in Durham. Sporting a long grey beard and grey tracksuit, he’s already serving a life sentence for kidnapping, raping, and murdering Sarah Everard.
Sentencing Set for March
The next hearing to sentence Couzens on these new charges is scheduled for March 6.
