Violent Brawl Rocks The Borough
Police swooped on The Borough around 5pm yesterday (14/10) after reports of two men throwing punches.
One Man Badly Beaten, Two Arrested
Officers discovered one bloke in his 30s from Downton with nasty bruising and a swollen eye. He was rushed to hospital before being hauled into custody. He now faces charges of drink driving and affray.
The second man, in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Witnesses Urged to Speak Up
Both suspects remain locked up at Melksham custody for questioning. Police believe several people saw the brawl and want them to come forward.
“If you witnessed the fight and haven’t spoken to police, call 101 quoting crime reference number 1,” authorities said.
