A CCTV image of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with an incident of upskirting in Reading as been released.
Between 7.20pm and 7.40pm on 12 August a man was observed holding a laptop bag close to two teenage girls in the Tesco store in Portman Road. The two girls then moved away from the man.
The man was spoken to by staff and left the store.
Investigating officer PC Jake Newton, based at Reading police station, said: “We are continuing to investigate a report of upskirting and are appealing for anyone who has any information which could assist our investigation.
“While incidents of this nature are rare, we appreciate this may cause some members of the community to be concerned, however we take reports of incidents of this nature very seriously.
“As part of our enquiries, we would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV image, as he may have important information which could assist our investigation.”
