Police have launched an investigation after a 16-year-old girl was attacked in Pound Tree Road, Southampton at around 8.30am on Monday 2nd November.
Images show the horrific injuries the girl was left with after an unknown male punched the victim in the face whilst she made her way to college.
The teenager was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area or witnessed the attack, including anyone who may have dash camera footage.
A witness has stated that a male of slim build, white, wearing blue jeans, possibly a brown jacket and with brown hair was seen to attack the girl. He then ran in the direction of Hogland’s Park.
