East Hull Burglars Busted: Two Jailed for Raiding Homes
Mason Donkin, 21, and Jordan Morgan, 20, have been locked up for a string of daring burglaries across East Hull. Donkin, currently homeless, copped a hefty five years and four months at Hull Crown Court on Friday 6 November. Morgan, from St Johns Grove, will serve 45 months in a young offenders institution.
Four Homes Raided, Shopping Sprees Funded by Stolen Cards
Donkin confessed to breaking into four homes, while Morgan was involved in three. The thieves made off with bank cards and cash before splashing out on local shops using the stolen cards. Their greed hit hard-working East Hull residents, leaving a trail of violated homes and shaken victims.
Police Slam Burglars for Targeting Vulnerable Locals
“It is clear these men preyed on the homes of vulnerable people in our community out of their own greed,” said Detective Sergeant Andy Bradley.
“They were intent on taking what wasn’t theirs from hard-working people in East Hull; behaviour that is totally inexcusable.Burglary is a very violating offence that can lead victims terrified to be in their own home.No-one should be made to feel that way, which is why we take reports of this nature incredibly seriously.”
“I am glad to see that these two are now behind bars, and I hope this goes some way in making the victims feel safer.”
