Man Nabbed on Boat with Fake Gun and Knife in Alsager Avenue Drama
Police Called After Trespasser Found on Boat
Officers rushed to Alsager Avenue on the morning of Thursday 25 March 2021 after a man was caught aboard a boat without permission.
Imitation Firearm and Knife Unearthed
Upon arrival, police found the man still on the vessel. After escorting him away, a search revealed he was carrying an imitation firearm and a knife. The 23-year-old was promptly arrested.
Charges Filed Against Joshua Presneill
- Joshua Presneill, 23, of Victory Street, Sheerness, faces charges for possession of an imitation firearm intended to cause fear of violence.
- He is also charged with carrying a bladed article in a public place.
Presneill was scheduled to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 27 March.
