Arizona Dad High on Acid Allegedly Leaves Baby to Suffer Horrific Injuries
Triston Dishon Sanders, from Arizona, has been arrested after his one-month-old daughter fell five feet off a table. The shocking incident left the baby with severe injuries and police are now investigating.
Baby Suffers Skull Fracture and Haemorrhage
The infant was rushed to Thunderbird Banner Hospital, where tests revealed a bilateral skull fracture, haemorrhage, broken blood vessels in her eye, a bump on the side of her head, and a bite mark on her abdomen, Fox 10 Phoenix reports.
Dad Admits Being High, Leaving Baby Unsupervised, and Abuse
During police interviews, Sanders confessed to being high on acid when he left his baby unattended on the dining table. He also admitted to stepping on her head and biting her. The disturbing abuse came to light after a third party reported the incident to authorities.
Arrest and Bail Details
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office records show Sanders was charged with three counts of crimes against a child. His bail is set at $10,000 (£8,150).
