Massive Cannabis Bust on the A2
Kent Police swooped on two vehicles carrying suspected cannabis plants on Saturday, 15 May 2021. Officers were called at 1.30pm after reports of people loading what looked like cannabis into cars on Canterbury Road.
Chase Ends with Multiple Arrests
The cars were tracked onto the A2. One was stopped near Pepper Hill, while the other was pulled over near Falconwood. Searches uncovered cannabis plants and cultivation gear.
- Two 64-year-old men from Greater London arrested near Pepper Hill
- A 35-year-old woman with no fixed address also detained
- Two men aged 24 and 25, homeless, stopped near Falconwood
Huge Cannabis Farm Uncovered
Following the arrests, a search warrant was executed at a property linked to the suspects. Police found over 200 cannabis plants at various growth stages, plus more cultivation equipment.
Two more men, both 25, were arrested inside the premises. All seven suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
