Motorcyclist Killed in Horror Three-Vehicle Smash on A41
A tragic crash unfolded just before 5pm on Saturday, June 26, on the A41 at Woodham. A blue Yamaha motorcycle, a black Volkswagen Touran, and a white vegetable-laden Mercedes lorry collided on the Bicester-bound carriageway. The biker, a 45-year-old man, died instantly at the scene.
Crash Details and Investigation Underway
The Volkswagen and motorcycle were heading towards Bicester, while the lorry came from the opposite direction. Formal ID is pending, but the victim’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving specialist support. No arrests have been made and no one else was hurt.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Sergeant Linford Baxter from the Joint Operations Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who lost his life in this collision.”
He added: “If you were driving on the A41 between Aylesbury and Bicester around the time of the crash, please check your dash cams and contact police if you caught anything important.”
Witnesses or anyone with information should call 101, quoting reference number 43210281835. Early probes suggest speed wasn’t a factor, but officers are looking closely at all details to piece together exactly what happened.
Public Help Praised
Sergeant Baxter also thanked those who stopped to assist at the scene: “Your help and patience during emergency response has been invaluable.”
