Drugs bust in Cannon Lane: Man caught with stash linked to 119 suspected cocaine deals
Undercover cops spot suspicious VW
At around 5.50pm on Thursday 22 July 2021, plainclothes Community Policing officers were on patrol when they spotted a VW they believed was tied to drug supply.
Driver stopped and searched
The car pulled up in Cannon Lane. The officers approached and questioned the driver, a man in his 30s from Paddock Wood.
Cocaine deals and cash seized
A search uncovered 119 suspected cocaine deals inside a plastic bag. Officers also seized £1,840 in cash and two mobile phones.
Man arrested but later released
The Paddock Wood man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He’s since been released pending further investigations.
