Light Aircraft Crashes in marlow/">Little Marlow – No Injuries Reported
Emergency teams raced to a dramatic light aircraft crash in Little Marlow on Sunday afternoon.
At around 4.05pm on August 1st, police, fire crews, paramedics, and a specialist HART team were scrambled after reports of a twin-wing plane crashing near the King’s Head pub on Church Road.
Unclear Whether Plane Was Landing or Taking Off
It’s still unknown if the plane was attempting to land or suffered a fault shortly after takeoff from nearby White Waltham or Booker airfields.
Firefighters from Slough, Marlow, Maidenhead, plus a rescue unit from Reading’s Dee Road, all joined the emergency response.
Official Statement: No Injuries in Crash
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “We received reports at about 4pm of a light aircraft flying low over Little Marlow. Shortly afterwards, the plane made an emergency landing in a field in Little Marlow. Thankfully, no one aboard or on the ground was injured.”
Rescue teams acted swiftly to secure the scene, but the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
