Police Hunt Man Over Brutal Late-Night Attack in Sherwood
Victim Left with Loose Teeth After Shocking Assault
Nottinghamshire Police have released CCTV images today, appealing for a man linked to a vicious assault in Sherwood to come forward. The victim suffered loosened teeth after stepping in to help a woman being harassed outside a shop.
Attack Happened Outside Nisa Shop
The violent incident unfolded around 11.40pm on 1 July 2021 outside the Nisa shop on Mansfield Road. Police described the scene as “particularly nasty.” PCSO Laura Cooper said:
“This was a particularly nasty assault which left the victim with loosened teeth. We treat violent incidents such as this very seriously and our enquiries are ongoing to find the person responsible.”
Police Urge Public to Come Forward
Officers believe the man pictured may hold crucial information. PCSO Cooper told us:
“If you recognise the man pictured please get in touch as soon as possible. If you have CCTV, dash-cam, or mobile footage from the area, please contact us too.”
