Detectives from Central East CID have reviewed CCTV showing the suspects roaming the streets, seemingly looking for trouble. Detective Constable Caelen Matthewson-Davies said:

“This was an unprovoked attack on an innocent victim out for a night in Shoreditch. London’s streets should be safe. There’s no place for this violence.”

“The victim has suffered serious facial wounds, requiring reconstructive surgery, and is battling emotional trauma and panic attacks.”
