A 19-year-old cyclist was hurt in a hit-and-run on Yeoman Lane at about 7.15pm on Tuesday, 7 September 2021. The victim was travelling towards the A20 Ashford Road when a silver Mercedes saloon smashed into him and sped off.

Victim Rushed to Hospital With Serious Injuries

Emergency crews took the injured cyclist to a local hospital. He is being treated for head, neck, and shoulder injuries sustained in the crash.

Police Hunt For Dash Cam Footage and Witnesses

The getaway car is described as a new, white or silver saloon model. Officers want to hear from anyone driving in Yeoman Lane or nearby Ashford Road between 7.15 and 7.30pm that evening.
