Man Found Stabbed to Death in Hounslow Home
Police were called to a property in Chatsworth Crescent, Hounslow, at 5.22pm on Monday, 13 December after reports of an unresponsive man.
Officers and paramedics discovered a 48-year-old man with stab wounds. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Victim Identified as Jacek Staszczyk
The victim’s next of kin have been informed, and while formal ID is pending, officers are confident the deceased is Jacek Staszczyk. A post-mortem began on Tuesday, 14 December.
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the probe. They want anyone with information about Jacek’s movements in the 48 hours before his death to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie said: “Sadly Jacek lost his life in an act of violence. We are determined to bring those responsible to justice. Our thoughts are with Jacek’s family at this difficult time.”
“If you saw or spoke to Jacek between 6pm on Saturday, 11 December and 5pm on Monday, 13 December, please contact us urgently.”
“Maybe you saw him with someone, heard a disturbance, or have dash cam footage from Chatsworth Crescent or Heath Road during this time. Any info, no matter how small, could be crucial.”
Police Reassure Public Amid Investigation
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Thrower from the West Area Command Unit added: “The public will be shocked by this senseless loss. There’s no evidence of a wider threat but we’ll be increasing patrols to reassure residents.”
