Police Step Up Patrols – Ask for Dashcam Footage and Eyewitnesses

Detective Constable Victoria Cobley from Northern CID said: “This is the second indecent exposure reported since 27 March. While we are not currently linking the cases, we’re reviewing all similar crimes as part of our investigation.”

She urged locals to come forward: “If you were near the footpath running from Anton Lake along the railway behind B&M Home Store and Halfords up to Pets at Home crossing around that time, please speak up.”

“Did you notice anyone matching the description? The bright multi-coloured scarf is a distinct detail. Drivers, if your dashcam caught anything suspicious, it could be crucial.”

DC Cobley added: “We understand how distressing this is to the community, especially for parents and children. Our neighbourhood officers are increasing patrols and are ready to listen to concerns. Any piece of information, no matter how small, could help.”
