Man in His 30s Stabbed to Death in Grove Avenue—Murder Probe Underway
Shocking Early Morning Attack
Police were called to Grove Avenue at 6:58am on Wednesday, 4 May after reports of a stabbing. A man in his mid-30s was found with fatal stab wounds.
Despite the rapid response from London’s Air Ambulance and paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect Arrested and Crime Scene Locked Down
Officers swiftly arrested a man, also believed to be in his 30s, on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody as detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime (Homicide) unit lead the inquiry.
A crime scene remains in place while police work to inform the victim’s next of kin.
