Man Found Dead in Radlett Swimming Pool
Police are urgently hunting witnesses after a man in his twenties was found dead in a swimming pool in Radlett.
Early Morning Tragedy at Theobald Street
The alarm was raised at 4.53am on Sunday, 22 May, when the ambulance service called officers to a home in Theobald Street. The man was pulled from the pool unconscious and sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Family Supported as Investigation Underway
Specially trained officers are supporting the grieving family while the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit probes the circumstances surrounding the death.
Arrest Made, But Suspect Released on Bail
- A 34-year-old man from Brighton has been arrested in connection with the incident.
- He is now released on bail with conditions until 17 June.
“Firstly my thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this very difficult time,” said Detective Inspector Iain MacPherson.
“We are piecing together what happened. A party was underway at the house. Although we’ve spoken to many attendees, we believe others left early who might have crucial information. Please get in touch if you can help – the family needs answers.”
