Tragic Moped Crash on Plumstead Road Claims Life of 23-Year-Old
At 10.27am on Wednesday, June 1, chaos hit Plumstead Road, SE18, when a moped veered off the road and smashed into a phone box.
Rider Dies After Collision
Emergency services rushed to the scene after the collision. The 23-year-old rider was rushed to hospital but sadly died from his injuries. His family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Police Launch Serious Collision Investigation
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is probing the incident and urgently hunting witnesses. They want to speak to anyone who saw the crash or caught it on dash cam.
