Police Hunt Burglar Tied to 19 East Sussex Break-Ins
Police are on the lookout for a man linked to a spree of 19 residential burglaries across East Sussex. The break-ins occurred between September and November, stretching from Rye in the east to St Leonards in the west.
Suspect Spotted on CCTV in Hastings
The raids hit homes in Rye, Crowhurst, Winchelsea, Fairlight, Hastings, Ore, and St Leonards. CCTV caught the suspect leaving a property in Hastings on Tuesday, November 1.
Distinctive Look Could Crack Case
The man is described as white, 5’8” to 5’10”, aged 20-30, with a slim build. He was seen wearing a cream beanie, black balaclava, hoodie, jeans, and grey trainers. Notably, the waistband of his underwear flashed a white ‘Guess’ logo, a rare detail police hope will lead to ID.
