Police Have Confirmed That A Pedestrian Was Struck By A Vehicle On The London Bound Carriageway In The Early Hours Of This Morning

Kent Police was called at 2.45am on Saturday 12 November, to a collision involving a pedestrian on the London-bound A2 close to a junction for Dartford Heath.

Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service have attended and the road currently remains closed.

Police are at the scene of the incident and are being assisted by National Highways Traffic Officers. A diversion route has been put in place with road users being rerouted locally. Motorists heading in that direction are being urged to consider taking alternative routes and should leave extra time for their journey.   More to follow
