Two Arrested Over Gabriel’s Brutal Bromley Road Murder
Late Friday night, police arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of assisting an offender. He is currently held at a south London police station. The very next day, a 16-year-old boy turned himself in and was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Pleads for More Witnesses
“Our investigation into Gabriel’s murder is ongoing,” said Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen. “Thanks to the public for their help so far. We’ve also located a male previously named in a wanted appeal. Four people have now been arrested, two charged. But I urge anyone with info who hasn’t come forward yet to make the call. Did you see or hear anything?”
Gabriel, 21, Stabbed to Death in Late-Night Attack
Gabriel was stabbed on Bromley Road, Downham, just before midnight on Friday, 4 November. Police and London Ambulance crews rushed to the scene to find the 21-year-old suffering serious stab wounds. Despite emergency treatment, Gabriel died in hospital the following afternoon.
Two Teens Charged, Set for Old Bailey Trial
- A 14-year-old and a 17-year-old male were charged with murder on Friday, 11 November.
- They appeared at Bexley Youth Court and were remanded to local authority care.
- They are due to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 15 November.
