Tributes Pour In for Dad of Three Killed in Horrific Strood Crash
A beloved father-of-three, Andy Millward, died after his black Vauxhall was slammed by an overturned Renault lorry in Strood. The tragic collision happened on Station Road near the junction with Frindsbury Road.
Heartbreaking Memorial at Crash Site
Friends and family have left flowers and touching tributes at the traffic lights where Andy lost his life. A photo of Andy hangs from a lamppost, surrounded by heartfelt messages.
“You were more than just an uncle to me; you were the best big brother anyone could ask for. I can’t believe you’re no longer with us. I’ll miss your face, smile, laughs, dancing, and times spent with you.”
Andy’s sister Selina added: “I keep wondering why you were taken from us in such a tragic accident. I adore you. Sleep tight, you will always be in our thoughts and hearts.”
Family Mourns a Much-Loved Man
Andy, in his 40s, was described by loved ones as “much-loved” and “adored”. His mother, Freda Law, told reporters:
“My son was adored. He also leaves behind his three daughters and a large family.”
Investigation Underway After Arrest
A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by reckless driving. He was later bailed until early next year. Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
