Shots Fired Near Colindale Tube: Man Injured
Police were scrambled at 10.41pm on Friday, December 2, after reports of gunfire on Colindale Avenue, just steps from Colindale Underground station. A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds to his leg. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Emergency Services React Fast
An ambulance service spokesperson revealed:
“We were called at 10:44pm on 2 December to reports of an incident at Colindale Station. We sent an ambulance crew, two medics in fast response cars and an incident response officer. We treated a person at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
Investigation Underway, No Arrests Yet
Police have launched a full investigation into the shooting. So far, no arrests have been made. Detectives urge anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
