Man in 20s stabbed in Croydon – suspect in custody
Police were called to College Road, Croydon at 10:55am on Wednesday, 17 January after reports of a stabbing.
Emergency response on the scene
Officers arrived quickly with the London Ambulance Service. They found a man in his 20s suffering from stab wounds. He was given urgent medical care and rushed to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Suspect arrested for GBH with intent
Another man, also in his 20s, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in police custody as detectives continue their inquiries.
