Met Police Detective Caught Exposing Himself on Hampstead Heath
Detective Constable Dariusz Alexander from the Roads and Transport Policing Command (RTPC) has been found guilty of discreditable conduct after being caught exposing himself in public.
Shamed Officer Arrested After Eyewitnesses Spot Incident
On Saturday, 18 March, two Metropolitan Police officers investigating an earlier incident on Hampstead Heath spotted DC Alexander indecently exposing himself. He was promptly arrested, charged, and suspended from duty.
Convicted of Outraging Public Decency at Stratford Court
DC Alexander was previously convicted of outraging public decency following a trial at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on 22 June. While allegations regarding authority, respect, and courtesy were not proven, his blatant misconduct was deemed serious enough to justify his dismissal.
Met Police Boss Vows Accountability
Detective Superintendent Christina Jessah, head of RTPC, said: “Everyone in this organisation knows the high standards expected of them and it is right that those who fall short are held to account.”
