Man Found Stabbed to Death in Wembley Park
Tragedy struck in Wembley on Monday night after a man in his 40s was found with stab wounds. Police were called at 9:49pm to reports of the injured man in The Dene area.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene but Victim Dies
Officers, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance all responded swiftly. Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene despite frantic life-saving efforts.
Police Launch Murder Inquiry
The Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation. Detectives believe the stabbing/" title="Stabbing" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">stabbing happened in nearby King Edward VII Park, and the man made his way to The Dene before being found by locals.
Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley said: “My thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time. We want to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything unusual between 9pm and 10pm in King Edward VII Park or surrounding areas. Even the smallest details could be critical.”
Three Arrested but Released on Bail
Two men and a woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. They have since been released on bail while inquiries continue.
The initial crime scene in King Edward VII Park remains cordoned off, along with surrounding areas.
