Police Recover Car Linked to Fatal Chase That Killed Amy Rose Wilson, 27

Detectives have recovered the car involved in the deadly chase that ended with the tragic death of Amy Rose Wilson, 27. The fatal smash happened around 6:10pm on Saturday on New Carron Road, Falkirk, when Amy’s silver Vauxhall Vectra collided with a black Volkswagen Tiguan.

Chase Triggered by Fight with Black Mercedes

Before the crash, Amy had clashed with the occupants of a black Mercedes C-Class. The confrontation sparked a dangerous chase, which is now under police investigation. The Mercedes involved has been found, police confirmed.

Victim Dies at Scene, Passenger Taken to Hospital

Amy Rose Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene. A 22-year-old passenger in her car was hospitalised but later released. He was arrested over an unrelated matter and is currently free pending further inquiries. Meanwhile, the 39-year-old driver of the Volkswagen suffered minor injuries.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Detective Chief Inspector Susan Balfour stressed the critical need to find the occupants of the Mercedes. She urged anyone with information about the car’s movements between 4:30pm and 6:30pm on Saturday to come forward. The vehicle was last seen in Glasgow, Cumbernauld, and Falkirk.

“If you were in these areas at that time, please check your dashcam footage,” said Det Ch Insp Balfour. “Any detail could be vital in piecing together what happened.”

A dedicated police team is working around the clock to uncover the full story behind the tragic incident. Det Ch Insp Balfour thanked those who have already helped and assured the public the investigation is a top priority.
