A man has been charged with theft and fraud offences in Maidstone – UKNIP

Kent Police received a report that a victim’s bank account had been the subject of several transactions without their knowledge between 15 May and 3 August 2023. 

The victim’s relatives alleged unauthorised purchases and cash withdrawals had been made from the account, and, on Monday 7 August, a suspect was arrested.

Two days later, William Dillon, of Knightrider Street, Maidstone was charged with theft and fraud by investigators from West Kent CID.

The 43-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 9 August.
